Proverbs 31:11-12 illustrates that the heart of her husband safely trusts her. This emphasizes one of the primary functions of the "Proverbs 31 Woman"—a function that goes beyond being a title or a trophy displayed on the highest shelf. It is her calling to support and care for her husband humbly and gracefully. Women have a unique ability to nourish a man's soul and promote emotional and spiritual well-being since they are natural nurturers and caregivers.
Men are frequently responsible for maintaining and guarding their homes, but the question is, who keeps them safe? When they are carrying the weight of the world all the time, who looks out for their emotional and mental health? 1 Peter 5:7 says, "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." God, in His wisdom, not only cares about our spiritual needs but also provides us with the physical support to share in our burdens. You have the ability to provide the men in your life with this kind of support as a wife, partner, or loved one.
When engaging with the men in their lives, women ought to ask themselves the following questions:
Do I help him feel accepted and at home?
Can he open up to me and express his thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment?
Do I honour his viewpoints and refrain from belittling them?
Believe it or not ladies, MEN WANT TO LET THEIR HAIR DOWN TOO! It's hard enough for them to "walk on eggshells" in the outside world, so their home should not feel like a place where they're walking on nails.
A safe zone for men should encourage vulnerability while affirming their worth in Christ. It should remind them that they are fearfully and wonderfully made, deserving of love and appreciation.
A safe zone also reinforces positive masculinity, allowing men to be authentic without the pressure to conform to harmful stereotypes. Instead of speaking harshly, choose words that bring life and encouragement. Say "thank you" for being the wonderful man he is, give him compliments, get him a nice gift, and perform tiny acts of kindness. These seemingly small actions have a big impact on a man's sense of worth and adoration.
Men are under a lot of pressure in today's world, so it's critical that they have a safe haven where they can relax. Creating a safe zone for a brother, uncle, husband, or male friend can be quite beneficial in assisting them in overcoming life's obstacles.
